Stoned Realisation... (Enter the Mind of APPAW)

I have pretty much always been firmly mantled in my stance against and 80's music and cognizant of the shit ways of it and what-have-you. But JESUS MAN... When I think--...

Few of My Fav-o-rit' Bands

Pixies
Talking Heads
Violent Femmes
Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds
The Cure

God damn... and there's more of 'em. Now believe me... I know it takes a stoner to turn something like that into a realisation of any measure. BUT DAMMIT IT FASCINATES ME!

*Looking back I don't see a point to this rampant spin-dol posting. But to erase such effort... hmmm. Then of course the shrude reality that will of course dawn when I see absolutly no response to my rampont spin-dol posting. My sweated effort or a speck on the rictar of internet embarassment... I've become hardened and selfish over the years.

So enjoy.
Hope Adult swim'll take me.
Wonder if any of em' questioned that "rampant spin-dol" crap*

Stars signify inner monologue.
They filled me full of drink
And led me round the rooms
Naked and cold and grinning
Until everything went black
And I came down spinning
I awoke so drunk and full of rage
That I could hardly speak
A fag in a whale bone corset
Draping his dick across my cheek
And its into the shame

... and left us somewhat shaken
It's a well known fact that drugs have caused paranoia, brain damage, and loss of reality in those that have never taken them.
  • I'd tell you that was the point... but I wouldn't wanna insult your intelligence:)

who's insulted? i'm not that intelligent.

Could you make a poem based on 80's music?

The Violent Femmes, oh femme violets -- I wrote a short story called that. I'm going to go dig it up.

    This is how it ended:
Violet is described in the dictionary in this manner: 1. Any of various low-growing plants of the genus Viola (which is also a stringed intrument of the violin family, my favorite), having spurred irregular flowers that are characteristically purplish-blue, but sometimes yellow or white. 2. Any of several similar plants such as the African violets. 3. Any of a group of colors, reddish blue in hue, that may vary in lightness and saturation. And of course, the dictionary tells us to see also the shrinking violet. But I'd rather not. I'd rather see the second definition of femme, which is woman.

What the heck would I do without my dictionary!?
