They filled me full of drink
And led me round the rooms
Naked and cold and grinning
Until everything went black
And I came down spinning
I awoke so drunk and full of rage
That I could hardly speak
A fag in a whale bone corset
Draping his dick across my cheek
And its into the shame

    I did. At the third one especially. For a long time. J -- is what it made think of first. Then that PJ Harvey song about the curve of my (what letter I'm not sure -- it's on uh,huh her)

    Then I wrote a poem about it

    Fingers,
    ears,
    bat wings,
    tears.

    Is that a plumb,
    an apple?

    Grey and Gray,
    you've been away
    and brought back something shaded.

    Lines that blur
    my words, I slur
    because maybe I am jaded.

    Charcoal thoughts
    ennuciate
    what Tolkien didn't write.

    Fantasy is fingers, ears
    bat wings, tears
    described in black and white.

    I know, Ali, when I looked at three I thought about surrealism too.

    it really really reminds me of The Garden of Earthly Delights, like APAW got in there and took a slice of the picture right out:

    (it's a triptych, and not to be really off the point or jabbing at anyone, just making an observation about something that I thought was funny, Earthly Paradise is labeled left wing, and Hell is labeled right wing)
