Sadly sunday comes
and I'm sitting by my window
waiting for the sun
with one eye on my pillow

Sadly sunday comes
the light shines over the mountains
for once exhaustion has won
and my tired eyes cannot function

Sadly sunday comes
I crawl back into bed with you
in spite of all of our problems
what you've done I can't undo

Sadly sunday comes
glass bottles gleaming in the sun
all over the floor you spilled some
my fix my only need, my only one

Sadly sunday leaves
like it came, I'm still empty
trying to understand what I need
but I don't understand a fucking thing
The most remarkable thing about you standing in the doorway, is that its you, and that you're standing in the doorway.

I write down good reasons to freeze to death in my spiral ring notebook. But in the long tresses of your hair--I am a babbling brook.
