lying there in the darkness
wishing that I had something to hold
I wasn't even hoping for the best
but I found someone better than I've ever known

I'm warning you that I don't fool around
but don't get me wrong
I'm just glad I've finally been found

found by a sweet little one
that doesn't seem to know
that she's the most perfect litte one
any man will ever know

but yet we sit in silence
without a single word to say
but the silence isn't tense
I would say nothing to you any day

so take that weight off your shoulders
and put your flashlight down
call off the search, call off the hounds
its time, sweet girl, I've finally been found
The most remarkable thing about you standing in the doorway, is that its you, and that you're standing in the doorway.

I write down good reasons to freeze to death in my spiral ring notebook. But in the long tresses of your hair--I am a babbling brook.
