hidden by the shadow
of a short little man
I'm shrinking into nonexistence
with my head in my hands

fallout from the blast
still makes the air so thick
obscuring my vision
so I can't see your trick

memory is all thats left
as I disappear from this land
I'm shrinking into nonexistence
with my head in my hands

but there is a lighthouse
in the distance
and it calls me to its fire
and I think I have a chance

but I get too close
and it crumbles like sand
I'm shrinking into nonexistence
with my head, in my disappearing hands
The most remarkable thing about you standing in the doorway, is that its you, and that you're standing in the doorway.

I write down good reasons to freeze to death in my spiral ring notebook. But in the long tresses of your hair--I am a babbling brook.

  • don't go to far,
sometimes its hard to find your way back
    You ask me to enter
But then You make me crawl
And I can't be holding on
    To what You got
When all You've got is hurt
    ----
    Underneath this smile lies everything
All my hopes and anger, pride and shame

that's supposed to read *too* far
    You ask me to enter
But then You make me crawl
And I can't be holding on
    To what You got
When all You've got is hurt
    ----
    Underneath this smile lies everything
All my hopes and anger, pride and shame
