Frozen North, or , Hell Awaits Me With Beautiful Fire

locked away in my ice tower
frozen breath shoots from my lips
the problems of the world fester below me
my biggest problem is Johnny Walker's sharp kiss

the arctic wind
blows bitter breath across my face
but its not as bitter
as I am to this day

the shining sun
is a distant memory
the clouds above
bellowing to punish me

Hell seems inviting
this time of year
the crackle of fire
the devil's cunning sneer
the melting of flesh
almost sounds good
to my tired cold hands
locked inside this frozen death room
The most remarkable thing about you standing in the doorway, is that its you, and that you're standing in the doorway.

I write down good reasons to freeze to death in my spiral ring notebook. But in the long tresses of your hair--I am a babbling brook.
