I'm waiting on a note
You must understand
How I can't sleep
Until my brain finally
Shuts off after worry and
Anticipation consume its energy

Waiting on this note
If not, anything more, a sign of your
Continued existence
Since it's hard to tell from here

Waiting on your reservation or resignation
Which will surely come in this note
With powerful language
Words I'd never think to use
A humor that paints your
Smile on the inside of my eyelids
Facts and nothings
Which both produce and consume
The energy
A blessing and the curse

So, please, if you get
This
Transmitted somehow
Maybe on an ocean-bed cable
Or dream wave
As my brain
And being recharges from
And for
You
