A Break Of Routine

If we sat down I think you and I'd agree
That this world has so much more to see
We don't have to settle for this just because we're afraid to search for something more

If for once we opened up the door
And exposed ourself to so much more
Lord knows what we could find somewhere out in the world

But you chose to stay locked inside our home
Defered your chance to live and roam
Taking me down with you just because you were too scared to open your eyes

Well I'm not here to scare you
I'm not here to shower you with guilt
But if we never see the great wide open
Our blossoming love will begin to wilt.

Remember those days back when we were younger
There was nothing around to worry or ponder
But now you're scared and you've locked yourself away from the world

Consider this my invitation letter
To a world where our love blooms better
To a world where our fears are forced to subside
And a break of routine opens your soul up wide
To a new adventure within this life
Just me and you, my darling wife.
"I cant hear you, but i feel the things you say"

Not enough love in the poetry section some days. This is a nice ray of sunshine.
You've changed your place in this world!
