I'm still Alive...true story

Today I left the house in a foul mood. I ripped my new pants, the dog made a mess and there was 6inches of snow on the ground.

I got in my car and Kitchener disc 2 was still in my cd player.

I grabbed a cheese danish on the way to crappy job "man the holidays suck when you work retail", only 1 mile till 10hours of shopper hell.

Suddenly a tractor trailor...

"He's in my lane"!

The Wall

All is WHITE...

Is it the snow? Is it the wall? I touch my nose.
Am I hurt?

My knee aches. I wonder if I am still on the highway. My foot is frozen to the brake.

The car is still in drive as I hear, "I'm still Alive".

    This really happened to me today. I hate myself for grumbling to myself all morning about, work, my clothes and weather. It's all so insignificant. It saddens me to know that my last meal might have been a lousy cheese danish I was scarfing down in a rush and that I wasn't looking forward to my day. It seen sureal that my last words might have been "he's in my lane", and not "I Love you" or "Thank you". When I finally made it home I called my mom and my fiance and just cried. I attempted to calm down by reading my email. I might not have gotten to read the love letter my fiance sent me from the road today and he would have gotten the card I sent him yesterday in a day or two. Those are the things in life I need to focus on more than that little crap that gets in my way everyday. What an amazing and blessed lesson to have learned and all the while listening to Pearl Jam.


    Well off to the doctors...

    I am glad you are alive as well. I find those "shakes" every now and than help me focus. Thanks for sharing.

    This is funny because a similar thing happened to me a few years back - I was in a car accident as Alive was playing on the radio!!!
    It's On The Inside And I Can't Get It Off.
