she exhales
then looks on in wonder
as her breath collides
with the dust particles
dancing in the sunlight
filtering through a window in her cell
satans snow slam dances
in a violent frenzy
much like the nuerons
that run amock in her brain
she remembers a blue jay
she would cuss each morning
as he greeted her with his call
"it's too fucking early you bastard
it's too fucking early...."

now

as she looks at the pads
that fabricate her walls
feels her arms
within the canvass jacket
wrapped around herself
in a perpetual embrace
tears flow from pale brown orbs
her only want
to hear the call of the jay
and to stick her hand
in a bag of dorritos

    It would be difficult to dip all wrapped up in that jacket as you are, here let me help you out. You just must try this dip! tenaciousA & myself worked really hard on it, one dip & you'll be hooked!

    I have lived in Colorado for a long while...
    and have never seen the snow slam dance.

    I have, however, witnessed an ice polka.

    it was alright.
    I'm stepping in front of the gushing hydrant in a hurricane. I'd like to see the traction I keep.
