Note: I've been pondering a lot of things lately... dumb ole me


there is a life
no matter how magnified
deep down on the ground
right up to the skies
with the water crashing down
and the dew upon the leaves
no sense of growing old
or becoming diseased
as we plan our simple futures
with the spinning of the globe
and the revoutions of the galaxies
we could never truly understand
how we came to be

no brain power we have got
no telescope we have bought
could show us how deep our existance is
even though the simplest explanation
is probably the most correct one

yet we try to think us through
we try to map our system out
with the spinning of the world
and the changing of the atmosphere
we try to figure it all out
even though the most complicated
most misunderstood thing in the universe
lies inside our heads...

I agree. The only thing I'll pick on is the beginning couplet of stanza two. Say "have we" in each line rather than "we have".

if you were going to change it just change that top line. leave the second.

unless of course there is a little poetic license being used to make a specific point

makes sense to me

no, don't do that....that would run contrary to everybody's consensus of fukking up english.....we need a new language now....english is tired and finished......as soon as america kicks up the last bit of dirt in everyone's faces.....chinese will come to the forefront....learn chinese....not mandarin obviously but cantonese.....
