Definitley feel rusty. I'm open for any suggestions. This is something that has been on my mind for a while....
Tree on Fire
Pains inside
Could no longer expess
I've let them go
Put my life to test
Ran away
From what once brought light
My mind's controlled
Hiding regrets in the night
Feel it burn
Like a tree on fire
Just you again
My one longing desire
Gave to me
What I once had lacked
Where are you now?
Writting your next great act
She'll do it again
Her original sin
Oh what could have been
And She'll do it again
The noble lie
Which you call a friend
Desperate ways
You become a trend
Look at how
You like me, alone
Finish it off
Make yourself unknown
Here I sit
Shaking on my knees
There you stand
With a look of please
Finish me off
Like you've wanted to
Don't acknowledge
What you've always known
She'll do it again
Her original sin
Oh what could have been
And She'll do it again
Tree on Fire
Pains inside
Could no longer expess
I've let them go
Put my life to test
Ran away
From what once brought light
My mind's controlled
Hiding regrets in the night
Feel it burn
Like a tree on fire
Just you again
My one longing desire
Gave to me
What I once had lacked
Where are you now?
Writting your next great act
She'll do it again
Her original sin
Oh what could have been
And She'll do it again
The noble lie
Which you call a friend
Desperate ways
You become a trend
Look at how
You like me, alone
Finish it off
Make yourself unknown
Here I sit
Shaking on my knees
There you stand
With a look of please
Finish me off
Like you've wanted to
Don't acknowledge
What you've always known
She'll do it again
Her original sin
Oh what could have been
And She'll do it again

how interesting...
I hope you won't take this the wrong way because I mean it as high praise but it's as if Kurt Cobain and Michael Hutchence got together to write a song.
Nirvana and INXS. That would have rocked baby.
Reminds me of someone I know... moved along and wrote me into her autobiography. Good deal. I'll see no royalties from that one, I imagine.
