Poem for the Hopeless

such anger I have built up inside,
I can't understand why I am to live,
This is such a struggle and so much i have to give,
Only to die in pity without pleasure,
lay in a box underground forever,
no peace of mind,
no one is kind,
My life built up with anger inside,
waiting and listening till i commit suicide,
walls begin to close in,
My time on earth is wearing thin,
And all i can say is goodbye,
Then i look in the sky,
lying on my back,
in a coffin of wood,
all this can not be understood,
you will never miss me,
you cannot see,
without me here with you,
you too will have a life of struggle.
written by a relative of mine who has thought about it a couple times. thank god he didnt.

there'll be time for laughin'
there's no time to cry
soon i will be leavin'
look me in the eye
no matter what's in front of me
it's your face that i'll see
there's no time to cry
soon i will be leavin'
look me in the eye
no matter what's in front of me
it's your face that i'll see

Such a contrast there between the image of "Then I look in the sky..." and when he adds, "...in a coffin of wood." It's a surprisingly uncomfortable feeling discovering the angle and location from which he was looking at the sky.
