I May Dream Again Tonight

As I stand there talking to you
laughing and having a good time
you have no idea what I feel.
I can not even say at this moment.

I can not find the words to say
any time I come around you...
I guess...its just...you I admire
I thought this feeling was gone for now.

Now as I fall asleep I don't know whats to come.
All the feelings I thought were lost
seem to come rushing back again.
Your kiss
your touch
are all just images in my head
we all call a dream.

If these feelings seem to pass
I can not be sure because,
I may dream again tonight
and let all those feelings rush back.
Now I feel like water flooding to my heart.
Just lying there...drowning.

I may dream again tonight
of you...
like I usually do.

i know that is what keeps me going too.that sensation of falling in love all over again,the tender ache and the tummy tumbling.

i want to feel like that forever.

it's so beautiful....hesitancy mixed with certainty....and those watery dreams where we only sojourn....it captures a feeling so strong....it's a beautiful poem.....:)
