so why do you keep coming back
to see what's on my mind?
is it like the accident you pass
on the freeway
where everyone slows down
to see the carnage?
or is it like the mesmerizing glow
of a beautiful woman
amidst the sea of faces?
perhaps it's like that
one brilliant star,
the only sun you can stare at
and not lose your eyesight
i wonder what you gain
from collecting the words
you so long to hear
but deny yourself the privilege
laughing instead
at your embarrassment
because it seems too precious
to actually utter
into a waiting ear
because it would lose meaning
to finally say it for real
and make it understood
so who is the one
that is completely head over heels?
i wonder how you made me
believe it was only me
yet there you are, in all your glory
pissing me off
taunting and playing around
when i need to know
and feel assured
what you want
what you need
yes, i know it's me
the evidence is there
don't you dare leave me like that
ever again ~
i'm ready to be
lovingly overwhelmed

    how big is love so you can take the aggravation
    It was a dream, not a nightmare. A beautiful dream I could never imagined in a thousand nods. I saw this girl next to me, she wasn't beautiful until she smiled. And I felt that smile come at me in heat waves following. Soaking through my body and out my finger tips in shafts of color. And I knew somewhere in the world, somewhere, that there was love for me.

    that's just it, there shouldn't be anymore aggravation to create false jealousy, because nothing will change what is. understand.

    deep ending off
    the high dive and into the shallow end of winter
    without care for
    or dare from
    the chicken-shit daffodils that wait for march
