i dream

i dream of a lover
who looks at me
with lovewise eyes
understanding and silent
busy with the work
of pleasing and accepting
i dream of a lover
who gazes at me
with pure intentions
caring and competent
focused on the pulse
of right here and right now
i dream of a lover
who smiles at me
with crinkling dearness
mature and timeless
far surpassing the needs
of arrivals and departures
i dream of a lover
who speaks to me
with a voice full of magic
soothing and warmth-wrapped
talking about anything
and listening too

for in all my dreams
he is only there for me
purely intent and giving
receiving my gifts
of gentle touch
and exciting feel
drawn by life force itself
simple and natural
as real as it gets
with a divine kiss
and an angel's care

feel my love
it's coming at you
