i want to meet you, see you
head on, full on
it's time to make
your acquaintance
you've been inside
all of my dreams
as a warrior, mentor
as a hero and lover
i've taken your words
to the depths of my heart
because they come of yours
from the bottom where
no one can touch
i want to feel you, know you
face on, full on
it's time to make
your reality real
you've been around
for a million days
inside my head, my heart
in my soul and my body
i've taken your meaning
to the pit of my gut
because i know they're true
and only for me
many times i doubted
countless in fact
yet you show me evidence
that you mean what you say
still shy and timid
that i won't believe
but i understand you
and you know me
every single thing
you likely know
how many times
my heart beats in a day
and the color of my left incisor
and the feel of my tongue
leaves an imprint
on your memory
that can never fade
as vivid as that night was
so are all the sensations
we gave each other
upon every inch
of everywhere
i want to have you, hold you
for all time
as promised back then
belonging only
to each other and happy
to know we are worthy
of each other's love
grateful and humble
to be blessed
by our falling stars

i leave it to you, baby

    and i have been alive for -
    14,897 days
    and you have been alive for -
    14272 days

    and although that does equal a million or even come close, as the seconds tick away i realize we are part of those million days and once we get above the earth the time will stop and it wont matter anyhow or anyway.......
