i know you're looking
for something/anything
to excite you
and pique your interest
whenever you do
you go full on into it
allowing yourself to fall
plummeting through clouds
of make believe and ache
and the more excited
you can make someone
the more you fire up
until you say/do/attempt
anything and everything you want
i still think you
are the most amazing being
sick/brilliant/beautiful/disgusting
i perceive far more
than you could ever know
yet you have your work
even if it is self-serving
under the guise of helping
lucky for you
that i'm as sane as can be
for no one else
could possibly understand
the extent to which you'd reach
to push limits beyond acceptable
to find out everything
to infiltrate
to invade
to insidiously creep
into psyches and chemistry
it is so wrong
and it is so good
