letting you know

i did see you--
little hippie boy in buckskin
with a small moustache
drinking water by me
wherever i went
there you were nearby
i always think i imagine
the coincidences pile up
until they aren't just chance
but intentional attentional needs
just to know it's there

i did see you--
casting a sly glance towards me
with lightning quick eyes
not sure of my response
just coming closer
and your energy disturbs
my peaceful calm and glow
because you can't keep away
from testing the game
since you still believe in miracles
and be sure,so do i

i did see you--
a couple of days before that
in a floppy hat up the street
i can always know your walk
no matter your guise
your disdain as i smoked
in the morning coffee place
and i heard your small 'huh'
was supposed to be hi
but even your mutters suffer
when you see my face

you want to see me
you want to be near
but something about me
paralyzes you each time
say something anything
just break the walls down
and don't worry i'll laugh
because i will anyway
you delight and amaze
no one can comprehend
your brilliance
i want to spread my beauty
all over you
and smother your fears
to replace them with love
and living the moment
and laughing in truth

it is real
and it is lasting

i could not speak
for the evening was full

but what remains
is your choice

throw that fear out the window
and welcome real love

jeez felicity .. this takes me back to the first time i asked girl for a date... a simple time in my life, yet so important.. thank you
Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
    And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green

Felicity, I have no words other than this was beautiful.

I am speechless both in remembrance, disbelief, awash with romance and jealousy.

    Very nicely done.

    I bow to you, madam.

I really enjoyed reading this, Felicity
like how you structured the poem
    your choice of words
    the general feeling of it
it mirrors the real life situation

hope he gets the nerve to talk to you :)
y la banda de Guille... cuando toca?
