i know
i can't have you
you're too far
from the beating
of my heart
and the radiating trust
of my soul
i can imagine
how the bending light
through your bedroom window
looks on your
face in the morning
and how you might
turn over
and smile at me
i have my mind
and my own imagination
i can taste the fruit
off your tree
when i sleep
when i dream
when i'm alone
with those songs playing
into my ears
as i rest my soul
my weary sad
and lonely
heart
that in some other place
and time
beats only for you

    i am very high as i am reading this.... such a wonderful work.... jessie, there are more sides to you then i knew..... and i certainly like the sides i know, but this is now a new bonus :)

    Reminds me of the reason I haven't been feeling so great lately. Beautiful way of putting it. I wrote it down. It's on the wall in front of my computer now.

    Definately very sweet and heartfelt....

    Josh. I'm so glad you read my poetry!! It makes me feel warm and fuzzy when special people read my stuff. I'm very glad you like this poem, along with the many sides of me. :) I like you too, and all your sides. :)

    Oh sis, I know you can relate to this poem! Most definitely. And ya know, I knew you'd comment for that reason. It's so great how we can relate to each other and our situations so well. It truly does make us bond as sisters. That's where this bond comes from. And it's so great to know I have you in my life to appreciate the small things such as this. I love you!
