I'm a girl
with a wide smile
and the bright eyes
of a child
even though
I'm growing up
into the adult
I'm going to be forever
but I can see
the beauty
inside of a cold
spirit
and I can sing
the songs of
the innocent
and I know
that with a smile
I can make
someone else smile

This poem is not just about me, but about everyone. Everyone has it in them to be and do all of these things, if they really want to. :) So yes, you can change the world. I just wish more people tried...

    i miss my only one,
    so i'll give her a call,
    i'll tell the girl she has a place so dear in my heart,
    she is my only one,
    my only daughter,
    my only child,
    the jayhawk coed,
    who also loves pearl jam..

    and i spoil that girl,
    i love her to a fault...
    wouldn't you?

    i would love to have a daughter like jessie...but i guess it would be hard to have sex at 5 (sorry :(....for the tardness.....) she is sugary indeed.......muah!

    slugger -- kid, you're totally rad, and i said the word rad because it's not cool and i figured it would make you laugh :p it's always nice to make ya laugh!! yizeah!

    ruby pie -- *virtual hugs* sometimes your compliments are just too much!! i can't believe how sweet you are, and i'm not sure how you do it, but i love it!! *cheers to you, my dear!*

    patrick(hoorayforhumans) -- you're beautiful. and at this point i'm speechless as to what to say to you. i just love you so much. <3

    olderman -- that poem was LOVELY and touched me to the very core... honest to goodness. and reminding you of your daughter, wow. for some reason, and i'm not even exaggerating, it made me feel so warm and stuff. i got a tear, i gotta say. :) and a beautiful poem from you, as well.

    Kwyjibo -- whenever you comment on my poetry, you leave lyrics or something you've written, and i can't quite tell what you're trying to tell me, or if you're telling ME anything at all... but the fact that you're leaving words behind in my little space of the board, it makes me feel special, like i've sparked something in you, and it makes me really glad to know that. :)
