fairytale-ish

skipping
across the water
like the stones
all those little
boys
in britches toss

laughing
laughing
little children
she's skipping
as laughing
children
look on wonderously

"how is she doing that??"

she's magic
she's myth
she's crazy in her
beautiful
strange
ways
and she delivers
that sense
of imagination
only present
in the earliest of the morning
dews and the
sweetest nectars
ever tasted
by royalty

skipping
skipping
across the lake
in which
the stones
are tossed
in which
her soul shall be


lost.

    Hrm...this makes me think of 'The Lady of Shallott.' If you don't know the poem, it's an oldie by Alfred Lord Tennyson. If you do know, good! Then you realize it's a huge compliment! :)

    That *IS* a huge compliment!! As a child that was my favorite poem, because it was Anne of Green Gable's favorite too. haha... yeah, I was a weird child. But yes yes, thanks so much. :)

    dude, my mom had to confiscate the movie 'cause i watched it so much...like, "WATCH ANOTHER FRIKKIN MOVIE! I'M SO SICK OF SEEING STUPID ANNE OF STUPID GREEN GABLES!!!!" :)
