"and tell me it's not adorable....
i dare you to do this
i dare you

cause we're all still children deep inside, now aren't we?

we're all a little crazy
we're all a little lovely
we're all a little ...
lost

take my hand and run with me to the bank of the river
we'll take off all our clothes and dive in
it's cold! so cold!
so hold me in the water and kiss me 'neath the willow
look up there, to the sky
and there will be stars winking
and i'll be kissing you on the neck

we're all a little crazy
beautiful.insane.incredible

innocence forgotten in the shuffle of the wind
we're all a little lost...

    Yes, that is what I like in a poem. An enjoyable and expected surprise, but it's not too sentimental; it's just playful. A few people I know could gain a lot from your poem - if they took the time to read poems.

    Mmmm well wasn't that a refreshing comment! :) I wish more people read poems... there would be much healing, I presume. I know that when I read poetry, old and new.... pro or amateur. It takes me to much better places within myself. I'm glad that maybe my poetry could help someone else. If they read poetry! haha...

    Nonono though. I know my poetry helps others, and others' poetry helps me. A big ol' chain of goodness, whether the poem be happy or sad.
