    love is all
    and to those who mock
    or doubt its power
    there is no option
    but to wait in hope
that one day the veil lifts
    and reveals the futility
    of bitterness and regret
    confusion begins
    when love is misplaced
    or misdirected or misbegotten
    love is everywhere
    even for those who are
    not in love with one
    but between humans
that were all born of a mother
and who will one day die
    we all suffer the same
    only some are stronger
to keep the demons at bay
    the haunting black void
    that awaits us all
    must be conquered daily
    so we seek another
    to give us comfort
    and pleasure of body
    to remind us we exist
    it's that simple
    our overwhelming urge
    to love with passion
    can change our lives
    shall we not strive
to please all those around us
    in whatever way we can
    with compassion and kindness
    with humor and understanding
    with light and goodness
    with words and music

    humanity
    love
    one

    we can decide
    to make it good
    and see the underlying being
    a spirit given the gift
    of being alive
    for a purpose
    be it small or world-famous
    everyone must try
    everyone gives up too fast
    or condemns love
    for being elusive or liquid
    but it is always there
    within
    truth
  • Absolutely!

    don't play the fool
    it is all inocent greed
    and a touch of fear
    and a bit of desire
It was a dream, not a nightmare. A beautiful dream I could never imagined in a thousand nods. I saw this girl next to me, she wasn't beautiful until she smiled. And I felt that smile come at me in heat waves following. Soaking through my body and out my finger tips in shafts of color. And I knew somewhere in the world, somewhere, that there was love for me.

  • Oh, no.
Greed satiates itself before the act of lust,
In the power thrust of nothingness. It is as a blast
    of emptiness
    before the start
    of the universe.

    But Love.

    Love.

    :)

    Love yearns
    and is multiplicitous,
    diaphanous
    as the first bright starball
    of all forms....

    :)

    the
    first....

    and

    the
    last

    beginning and end

everything you imagined need be stuck in your mind

this is a very honest reply. the day we are born we have to be greedy enough to get what we need to survive, otherwise we die. but then we share our strength, and supply the weak too, for which we should never expect thanks.
  • The only word is that means itself is impediment.
    Love is not a word.
Love "means", only when outside language, as do feelings and impulses of avarice and fear. Words don't. Words impede meaning, inexorably. Therefore words can't mean love, but they can mean impedence by their very nature. Love? Greed? Fear? The words impede our terms. Mine, yours, everyone's. To be a human? NastAngels did that on the other thread. The unsayable was...suggested. That is poetry.
