ok. i have this idea. don't know if it would run, or if against the rules. if it is, i'll stop asap. it's just a thought.

i have nobody to take to boston 1 (6/28/08), yet. i have 10club tickets. my # 161xxx. everybody i know are taken care of with tickets to this show. now ..

i was thinking of just donating my 10club ticket. do an auction for it. the money raised will go to a certain charity. winner will get to seat with me at the show. get a few fan made dvds & a kiss! (if asked) :p

i don't know yet. but it's a thought.
what do you think?

:)

Very noble of you, but auctioning off a 10C ticket may be a grey area that 10C doesn't want to see occupied. Seeing as it is a Saturday night show in Boston, you shouldn't have any trouble finding someone to sit with. Sometimes I don't decide who I am going to the show with until a fews hours before the show.

I've seen tix raffled off at Pre-show benefits before. Not sure if they were 10C tix or not. I can't see 10C being pissed off if no individual is profiting, but rather a charitable foundation, but always better to check with the 10C powers that be.

i'll check with them. just an idea i was thinking on in good faith. i'm not making any profit out of it. all the money raised will be going to chairty.

    thanks! :)

Just have a raffle, give it away for face and donate it to a charity. Much simpler and just as noble. As far as the dvds donate that to wishlist.
Some people have religion I have Pearl Jam.

raffle style would probably be the best idea. probably do it at the hartford pre-party or something. as for dvd's .. already working on a few box set's for the pre-parties. ;)
