Remember

I held something in my arms,

something that held me too.

I knew what it was would always stay true.

As I moved my arms slowly,

I heard her say,

"Will you hold me everyday?"

I looked into its eyes,

as if to speak,

but then thought again as I kissed her soft cheek.

Slowly I left with a sigh,

but came back again to save the tear from her eye.

I slowly whispered that I do not lie,

and that I love her even when we die.

I held her tight even with feet,

she was just too sweet.

She says its time, she has to go.

Says remember this time,

then let go.

I hold her now in my heart,

like a priceless piece of art.
