Did anyone else get a double shipment?

I waited until the end of the tour to order all of the boots I wanted so I'd get them all in one shipment. They arrived yesterday. But then when I arrived home today I found another package in the mail from Ten Club....with a second set of the exact same cds I received yesterday! I was a little freaked out because after I opened the package yesterday I thought about ordering another set for my friend who usually goes to shows with me, and they showed up today. I had to check my profile to make sure I didn't order them earlier and just forget about it. But no, I only ordered one set, and that's all I was charged for too. Weird!

I would contact Kaufan (whatever they're called) and let them know- I'm sure they will just tell you to keep them anyway

it happened to me in 03
i had accidently ordered twice, cancelled one order, but 2 turned up.
i sold one of the 2 boots on ebay, and donated one at hartford pre party...
i don't even know what boot it was... un opened, 1 of 2 shows but the labels were inside the package!

My rule for grocery store price errors is, either you always go back, or you never go back. Personally I don't go back unless the difference is more than $10, and this rule applies for when I'm on both the winning end and the losing end. If I'm on the winning end and they make it very difficult (e.g. math-impaired customer service person), then I give up, but at least I tried.

You would call if they didn't send you any cds, right? So by my rule, you should call since they sent you two sets. Personally I would want to make sure to stay on good terms with the company, and there's always a chance they'll catch the mistake.

Let us know what you end up doing.

I had a SOMEWHAT similar situation on my hands yesterday....

So I got totally shut out of getting EV tickets through 10C and Ticketmaster so I bought some through Stub-Hub (rip off)
I got my tickets in the mail last week sometime and was all happy cause I was actually going to at least 1 show....well then two days ago another pair of tickets show up on my door step!! Same night, different section! So I was torn with doing the right thing and calling Stub-Hub or keeping them and splitting the cost of my two with whoever I gave these two to!?
So I called Stub-Hub cause I felt guilty... and I shipped them out to the correct recipient. :-)

Or, if attending an Ed solo show, hit up the pre-party and donate for auction for the local charity...

I seriously doubt Kufala is going to ask you to mail them back.

It happened to me in 03. I receieved someone elses order with my boots. I remeber there were two packaging slips, one with someone else's name and order on it. I emailed the Ten Club and just sent the CD's back to them.

I preordered the last Strokes album online, mostly so I would receive the free vinyl single they were shipping along with it. They sent me the album AND the single twice.

I ordered the new Sevendust album last year and with a purchase of the album, you also got to meet the band after a show if you bought tickets- I wish more bands did this. Anyway, they sent me something like 4 or 5 extra CDs, I contacted the shipper and they told me to just hold on to them- I ended up giving them out to friends.

since they were just cd-r's i wouldn't think it's too big of a loss for kufala.

I got a double shipment of the "Gorge" boxed set. I let the 10c know, sent it back, and for my trouble they gave me a free download of any 08 show.

A friend of mine ordered a guitar case from Musicians friend. When he received the guitar case, he opened it up to find a $1500 Martin. He was so torn, but ended up calling the musicians friend people (who weren't friendly at all), they said send it back. No thank you or anything.

Oh well, at least he doesn't have to worry about bad karma.
