warmth

holding your child on a chilly winter night
feeling his hand hold your night shirt so tight,
resting my head on my husbands chest to sleep,
feeling his arm wrapped around me.
whats good for the goose is good for the gander

    my thoughts exactly thank you for the reply:)
    somethings are better when they are short and right to the point and this is my best way of describing the word warmth:)

    This reminds me of something I wrote last night, actually... about mah hunny. I don't have it with me, so I'll have to paraphrase. Bear with me. :)

    Her lips curled north to a smile -
    as genuine as it was subtle in sleep -
    upon laying my arm across her

    The warmth of my touch invaded her dreams
    so that she may know love there, too,

    I wrote it down on a piece of paper and slid it under the bathroom door while she was in the bathtub soaking.
