its christmas eve, joy fills the air,my kids are full of christmas cheer.thoughts of power rangers and army men use up there dreams, i cant wait to hear those christmas screams. i look at them and it takes me to another place in time, when all of those dreams they were once mine! i can feel the anticipation sucking them in, like a great whirlpool spinning round and round,i told my kids listen for santas sleigh bell sounds.

    that is love
It was a dream, not a nightmare. A beautiful dream I could never imagined in a thousand nods. I saw this girl next to me, she wasn't beautiful until she smiled. And I felt that smile come at me in heat waves following. Soaking through my body and out my finger tips in shafts of color. And I knew somewhere in the world, somewhere, that there was love for me.

my 5 year old's last words before falling into sleep last night were...

    "i'm listening for sleigh bells"

we intently listened for a minute, and she was out

    :)

then i was up till 3:00 preparing and assembling and cleaning

(and i'm wondering why santa didn't hook me up with a coffee I.V. this morning)

now everything's unwrapped and both of my children are mad about the happy happy joy joy of brand spanky new toys :)

and i've naught to do but smile and wait for nap time :)
