heaven

the quiet calmness of the night ,
im thinking of what happened today that didnt go quite right.

the order was due, no time deadline is up!
all i can hear is the kids screaming mom, mom, mom,
the dishes needing done someone used the last clean cup.

somewhere in my recap of the day,
i went to heaven in dreamland while drifting away from my stress right after i prayed.

i found all the good i have thats beautiful in my life,
kids,husband,pearljam,friends what a wonderful beam of light!

now i have found the one stress releif for me,
drifting away to heaven in my sleep!
whats good for the goose is good for the gander

    awww ty you remebered the whipping, and may you always have sweet dreams also:) the day i wrote the whipping i was in a very stressed out kind of mood but it is nice to have days like the ones i had the day i worte this one

    when i first started writing poems in here i wrote a poem i called poem it was a poem with alot of pearl jam song titles and covers they do......i was feeling good about it, then i started writing (like i usually do) about things that are personal and i was a bit intimidated.......but thanks to people like you i didnt end up feeling ashamed or embarassed, friends encouraged me now i feel good posting even if im not fond of my style:) thank you for the love and support
