some lines i just put together, it's not very deep, but plain and angry

i decided to call it Bushwack, because that word can be interpreted in so many ways.

Bushwack (05-09-05 3:47 AM)

how far does it have to go, how much more blood needs to be shed
before people counting on their leader, are adding bodies instead

young kids they are the victims, of a man who doesn't know
anything about what he's doing, yet you finds another mission to blow

we all know it was completed, proudly presented to the people
yet they are still dying, for your fucking cracking steeple

you drink their blood for breakfast, and their limps for dinner
while playing golf in between there, now who here is the sinner?

would you stop acting like a half ass cowboy
and take responsibilty for your decoy

so you'll come down here with your lies that make no fucking sense
you are a danger to me, i'll thank your brother after my act of self defense

~You laugh because I am different, I laugh because you are all the fucking same -?~

  • Wow, straight and angry. I get it that this one's a wake up call. These lines are interesting:
so you'll come down here with your lies that make no fucking sense
you are a danger to me, i'll thank your brother after my act of self defense

Not a Patriot Act thug or Republican (thank god). Just pointing out a definate shift in the work.

Anyway, it's a strong "boink" in the head for people.

    Peace

The conquered boundaries all within contract
    Angry revolutions are turning back
And so unstable is the teetering fact

So little compared to the leviathans of life
To lead so incompletely will follow with strife
And thus in our side the betraying knife

The unspoken truth compromises our right
Falling from the pedestal he is no longer trite
And when unveiled we shall see this light

So he reveals the shallow of mind
The nobles do preach more likely unkind
And now the sand has dropped behind...
...they gladly leave us with nothing but time

I'm pretty sure the term is spelled with an "H" bushwhacking

However, bushwhacking is a real term, it means to move in the woods not along any appointed trail, like navigating by compass, it's what army commandos do.

i think the couplets make pretty charged song lyrics

maybe a good intro to a slam poem

but as a whole they stand much better spoken than written down,
a little too teen anxsty to really buffer the test of time, but your
heart is in it and if treated the right way it can be powerful
