darkened clouds
in your silence, what I see

and did they say

don't think that they cared

where broken promises lay
their lies you believed
left out in the cold
know now, you meant nothing
raw emotions stirring
all but bittersweet
and when others walk among you

i'll give back your wings
but not your innocence

angry cries
