Does anyone ever get the feeling that since the Binaural US tour, that Pearl Jam have changed...I can't put my finger on what has changed, or why, but there is a different spirit to the band now...Less intense or something

I think before 2000 they had more of a 'chip on their shoulder' or were the 'troubled genius' type thing going on that they are probably past now.

    Or something.

Bingo. I'd also add a greater sense of clarity, which I think has translated well to the live shows and the studio material :)

the 2000 tour was probably my favorite tour. lots of memories, and huge expectations for future tours in my eyes. they were on fire in 2000, practically every show was a monster.
