Something That You Are Doing

Something that you are doing
Is rotting your brain
Like a wet peach
On a hot humid noon;
(Something that you are doing
Is snapping your soul
Like the brittle twigs on the forest floor
In deepest winter,
The sound bouncing back to you
Off of frosty leaves and icy hangers)
And something in this world
Is coming for you
It's thin fingers bent
It's sharp nails poised
It's coming for you
Right
Now.

    Excellent, Groove! Nice imagery/metaphors. Pleasure to read.
