leaving soon i will, i said today and im in debt a lot to pay
my strings they sit and stare, touch us today my friend ill spare-
humming for dust the bronze gold glare

once step forward to a place not seen
ill never go back- plotting the unseen
these things hold me down - i have to pay
debt my dues the other way

i bid my sorrow to the rest malice me they will
-a turn from the worst ill hide in here

im leaving soon i will
these things hold me down i have to pay
debt my dues the other way

an old staring time the other way subsides
a fate to ponder one to demise

-many i despise

I feel that way occasionally myself.

well put, if a tad Yoda-ish. But it really works here, so don't fret, I'm not making fun.
I'm stepping in front of the gushing hydrant in a hurricane. I'd like to see the traction I keep.
