and you'll see, that flowers, aren't so pretty
take off, the blindfold, covers your sleep
and weep, and weep

Rearange, the garments, litter your room
take out, your anger, along with your broom
clean off, your body, time to feel
freezing, freezing

    all that time in the desert
    It was a dream, not a nightmare. A beautiful dream I could never imagined in a thousand nods. I saw this girl next to me, she wasn't beautiful until she smiled.     i think "flowers arent so pretty" not "my flowers arent so pretty"

    cuz i took it to mean, a pretty flower, in its ripe, beautiful stage, in contrast to a dead flower

    kind of like a tortured prisoner in comparison to someone who lives in the US, with all our luxuries, know what i mean? someone who looks pampered compared to someone who has nothing....

    that is what i took it to mean

    that flowers OR my flowers...

    i think either could be used, but i think i like "that flowers" more... makes for a deeper thing, a deeper more transcendent thing...

    because we all have things that are not so pretty about us, the irony in that becomes that sometimes we get lucky and people love the ugly, too...

    i think it's what everyone wants, really

    to be able to hang loose and not be scared?

    well it was written to someone i love, and i wanted her to calm down from her manic mentality, but that line refured to a underlinng fear i had about her stoping her mania and loosing her need and want for me, and relising i'm not so amazing, just a stepping stone in her life, a flower that never was pretty
