When gravity becomes too much, I will go to sleep.
I will say my goodnights. I will listen to my lullybyes, tap tap the rythem on my eylids
And even though the melody seems filmiliar you'll sware you were the first to sing it.
Your goodnight kiss will be brief, but sincere. Though your breath smells so strong of cigarrets.
i will the bottom of your dress as you leave the room, hallway lights splash agaist my brow
I'll wait for sleep wile the sounds of bedposts rock me to sleep.

In The morning I'll feel life return to each part of my body, one at a time till all that remains rest silently in my skull
he's still asleep, hours too late when the telephone rings of its hook
no anser means your gone, house vacent in the smell of oxogen
morning news wont be understood, but left on for the quiet voices and soft light
I want the best for me, but i'll choose to not eat instead
Wheres my smile when i anser the doorbell? the mailman just has bills
i'll throw them with the rest of the rotton tomatos and climb back in bed
two more pills and she's back in my room, singing me to sleep
