  • Your band sucks... ;)

No i think its really good, nice to hear some progressive music, stepping away from the formulated bull s-h-i-t heard all too often nowadays.

You have an interesting sound, keep it up!
'Fox hunting is barbaric, the people who do it are a bunch of snobby tories with stupid posh accents. Oh damn, i didn't say that - damn, what a giveaway...'
  • thank you very much. i'll eventialy get around to putting some rock songs on there, but the acoustic stuff is my fav. anyway.thank you for listining:D

yah that song was probibly the most fun i've ever had on a song. it was just an hour with an 8-track and a synth. and then a whole lot of editing.

I like "I Love You, Just Kidding" for its 3/4 minor to major progression which reminds me a bit of Syd Barrett's "Opel". The voice is strong too. It could benefit from being up in the mix because the words are clear and the delivery is clearly good. An impressive demo and a good song. I kid thee not.

I like the experimental fooking around on "Aqua Teen" and the start of "Black and White French Film"; The latter has an eastern flavour. The mp3's a little crackly but I get the idea! Good cinematic atmosphere.

Is that a phaser pedal on "Sauvignon Blanc"? I like the layer and the wash effect. It's ambient and dark too. It feels like a jam but before the words come in. I like the improvisatory quality of it.

"The Last Act" starts off very "Pink Moon"-era Nick Drake-ish, which I love. I like the little phrase from The Beatles' "Norwegian Wood" and the voice. Is that deep vocal achieved by playing with the pitch? Then the piece builds gently to an eastern, very melodic climax. My favourite on here.

"Personal Gita" has some nice lead playing. What kind of distortion pedal do you use, or is that effect achieved from an amp?

What I like most about these recordings is that they're real and they sound like a musical process rather than some product. Thanks for sharing them.

How can one get free mp3 hostng for one's music? I have mp3s of my songs and I'd love to share them here too.

Thanks for sharing your work, sevensins.
  • wow man, thaks for the in depth review. were still adding the essentialsto these songs. but its nic to think you were heading in the right direction. thank you man, your complements came at the right time, cuz some guy told me i should give up music...so thanks:)

I achieved all effects with the gnx3 and adjustments on the mode 4 marshel stack. Umm the vocal was just my voice on "the last act". and I used tripod to make a web page...but they kinda suck....lots of pop ups. but it works. I'm sure we would all love to hear your songs.
