Someone hook me up with some high quality 98' shows. I'll take anything, but the aussie shows look dam good judging by setlist. How sick would it be if they released some of the yield tour from the vault, we can dream.

what's the best '98 boot on that site? I know everyone has their own opinion but there's usually one that everyone can agree on from every tour...I want THAT one.

    thanks!

MSG 9/11/98 is great. Greenville 9/4 also (I was at this show so I may be biased but it truly is awesome)

MSG is probably the best, but I'd put up E. Lansing 8/18 up there with any of them. Busted out Soldier of Love for the first time.

obviously I've got that, but the songs were spliced from many shows. Had forgotten about it though.

    The Melbourne shows are good.

3-5-98 has great sound off the top of my head.

Melbourne and Seattle II are the only A+ soundboards. There's a few audience tapes that are very good, but they're not as good as the soundboards.

Alot of the Oz shiows from 1998 are A+ as they were broadcast on the radio.
Pearl Jam - London Astoria 20/4/06....One hell of a night :)

    Reading 2006 - WOOOOW!!!!!

    Paris 2006 - Fucking amazing

    Wembley 2007 :D
  • can you download from there? when i click the download button, it just opens it in Windows Media Player.

also wanted to say thanks!, I have been looking for some quality sounding 98 boots for a while

the already mentioned Melbourne 3, Seattle 2, Mansfield 2, are great soundboard recordings.. but both Englewood shows are soundboards too.. these shows sound better than some of the official ones.. how I'd want all pj concerts sounded like these, maybe with the vault.. maybe

Only Melbourne 3 and Seattle 2 are genuine stereo soundboards like the official boots. Mansfield 2 and Inglewood 1&2 are mono ALD feeds matrixed with an audience recording.

except they're better than the official boots imho, cuz there's no audience mics. they are super clean. check out ed's breathing in the beginning of faithful from 7.22.98... you'd never be able to hear that on today's official boots

first of most of the ones i dloaded are in MP3 not as good.

Second when you bring up a show you can stream or dload . to dload ,at the top of the show box , click the down arrow. has to be the show box toolbar though otherwise you are dloading whatever art is available with and not the music. Free site that accepts donations to keep it going. Fairly simple and straightforward.also found you are limited to 2 shows at a time

  • I'm listening to the Englewood show and the quality is fantastic. Great show a few songs in...man, I'm getting nostalgic for the Yield Tour.

I've heard several: MSG I & II, E. Ruth, Park City, Maui, St. Louis, Croc Cafe, Seattle 7/22...Any other recommendations?

I am still having trouble downloading. When you say "the show box toolbar", do you mean the player window? Because I don't see any down-arrow button on the player window. Do you have to be logged in?

If I click on a certain show, it brings up the playlist and I see a down-arrow by each song and a down arrow to the bottom-left under "playlist". If I roll across the down-arrow it's description is "download", but if I click an individual song it just opens it up in windows media player. if i hit the down-arrow on the bottom-left corner it goes to a blank screen.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
