    I'm telling you now, I think Jeff IS Pearl Jam to me.

    He's quiet and intense and he's just this amazing artist that never quits.

    I also feel like they don't ever play enough of his stuff

    It kind of pisses me off, really, because I love his work. And they don't play enough of it.

    Hey now, I'm not totally venerating, just stating what I perceive to be a fact: that Jeff isn't accorded the same respect as the rest of the band.

    heck they couldn't even agree to put the actual version of Brother on Lost Dogs, just for him. Sad.

    I have met Jeff, even sold him a camera, and I do agree that I was somewhat... I don' know, I hate the term but... starstruck when I did. However it was because I was meeting someone for the first time whom I respected and who had affected me deeply as a youth. It meant a lot for me to meet him and tell him thanks. I am glad I got to show my appreciation.

    but I know what you are saying and it IS true. So were we all.

    i'm sorry you took that in a slightly skewed fashion. what ah-ment was -- right before there's pearl jam, there's a dang twinkle -- git it?

    i'm sure he is a very nice man. and who could blame you for being 'starstruck', i certainly don't. that would be exciting for a fan to wait on one of their heroes.

    how did you know they didn't agree on putting brother on there? are you exchanging emails with JA now? how is he not getting any respect? he has his own little carpet and stool, what more does he want? i mean, next thing you know he'll be wanting an assistant tech to his tech, TWO bottles of water, even though he slurps ed's wine here and there, and maybe even clean socks every day while on tour! the audacity of that measly bass player!

    better they keep him humble and grateful for the few crumbs they toss him. we want him to be a lean, mean, fighting machine.

    i'm giddy.
