ever since i
started taking better medicine
i realized i was female.
so i started painting my face..
now its such a natural thing
wearing dresses
and pantsuits
and high heels
like a business woman
no more unkept hair
looking like cousin it
no more baggy pants
and t shirts
to cover my confused sexual identity
organizing my college notes
battling satan with my pinky finger
and i do it all for me
no one else
used to believe in my gods
maynard and eddie
used to lose myself in them
becoming my identity
who i thought they were
in darkness to escape the pain...
well now, im a woman
and it matters not if anyone cares.. or sees
my Best Friend taught me
im free
and im beautiful
beautiful inside and out, come so far
