screams fill the air
im going deaf.
never will you feel peace
5 year old expected to solve
civil engineering math problems
and understand
why her legs were cut off
so the 300 lb. man could eat more fat.
still this,
he didnt leave her alone.
her sleep was false-
fear in her own
mother's arms
enemies far and wide
even more outside
-the odd, strange
unfriendly freak.
he wanted her hands
and her eyes.
he cut them off too.
she couldnt say a word-
just listen to the screams
she died listening to these screams
and hell--was like heaven
