soap & water

a pair of glowing eyes & swatting flies
silence at the end of days & a dumbfounded gaze
this is what I like
this is what I prefer
just nothing, just soap & water

piles of endless debt & no will to pay
hoarding all the trust so I can’t betray
simple games & child’s play
this is what I like
this is what I prefer
just nothing, just soap & water

kicking off my shoes & a toe in the dirt
goodwill, hopscotch & a white tee shirt
these are the things I like
these are what I prefer
just nothing, just soap & water

  • I hate responsability. good poem
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
    (Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes

    Function is the key

This one feels like it has a mixed mood. It seems to be expressing a need to get clean and simplify (which should be a good thing!) but it also feels bitter too.

But perhaps some quiet days are overdue? :)

P.S. I fell alsleep thinking about this poem, and I must say, it's so full of symbols. It's really good!
