Keep Me

Keep me at a distance
Don’t let me near
As soon as you feel it
You turn it into fear
Keep the time here short
So I’m always wanting more
I miss you from the moment
That you step out the door

Twist your words and blind me
With your so enchanting smile
Twist the knife into my heart
Kissing me all the while

Keep me well out of range
So you won’t have to see
All the pain in my eyes
Because you’d rather be free
Keep me or leave me
It’s all up to you
Cause you know that I will
Do what you want me to

Twist time and space around me
With your words in my ear
Twist the things that I’ve said
So you won’t have to hear
The universe is shaped exactly like the earth if you go
straight long enough you'll end up where you were.

    Very well written poems anaranae.......the first on really seemed to speak to me in ways I could only tell you with PM's. The second one really seems like it would go well with music...It has sort of a flow to it.

    we can share if you like...feel free. they're both pretty personal to me...and the second one is more lyrics..i have a song in my head for it. thanks sweets.
