break up

a love so strong we couldnt hold on,
now your gone its hard to go on,
the days are lonely and the nights are long,
if only i had seen were it went wrong.

a tear in her eye as she walked out the door,
please dont go i drop to the floor,
i need you now even more,
its to late you say its not like before.

empty and lonley is how i feel,
trying to swallow my only meal,
i hate myself for the sad ending,
if you see me happy know that im only pretending.

    Hey man, I'm sorry to hear about the break up. I'm going through the divorce thing right now myself, so I understand what you have to say here.

    Get into the sunlight and bask for a bit. It always makes anyone feel better. After that, it's only the future, right? Right?

    we feel your pain in your words, healthy you sound, yes you do,

    still ok to cry though.

    First, I am really sorry... For every ending there is a new beging, and though now it may be very hard to imagine there being something to look forward to, I promise someday you won't need to pretend.
    Second, your poem is really good. If you are anything like myself I need something emotional to inspire me to write....
