MONDAY night

Here I am again waiting for my SAILOR on a MONDAY night
in my cheerleading outfit that used to have a big TEN on my chest
but I replaced it with a big THREE

I still believe TODAY could be the day
TODAY could be the day

with my wine in hand
i promise i won't escape too far
just far enough to where YOU are
And I won't be sad if you don't come this second
And I'm not gon’na pout 'cause SANTA told me to smile

I know TODAY could still be the day
I feel TODAY could be the day

Temptation has come on strong lately
Promising me pleasure from an empty shell
But I keep turning around
and I keep telling myself to not run away
but to hold on, HOLD ON

'cause I feel TODAY could be the day
and this day is not over yet

Yatahe, are you trying to project a sarcastic tone with the words in all capitol letters? If you are, I think you've done it successfully.
