Lost Cause
What if i knew you
What if you need me to
be there for you
things can't be the same again
It's all changing
today is doomed to fail again
it can't be stopped
I don't believe in everything...
(chorus)
No Way Out...
Cry For Help...
My life's burning... right in front of my eyes...
Places i know
nothing's quite the same here
it never was before
but now I'm turning to fear...
(chorus)
Now Way Out...
I can't see in...
My world's crashing down... right in front of my eyes...
(interlude)
No Way Out........
What if i knew you
What if you need me to
be there for you
things can't be the same again
It's all changing
today is doomed to fail again
it can't be stopped
I don't believe in everything...
(chorus)
No Way Out...
Cry For Help...
My life's burning... right in front of my eyes...
Places i know
nothing's quite the same here
it never was before
but now I'm turning to fear...
(chorus)
Now Way Out...
I can't see in...
My world's crashing down... right in front of my eyes...
(interlude)
No Way Out........
Between the conception and the creation
Between the emotion and the response
Falls the shadow.
Between the emotion and the response
Falls the shadow.

It's hard to connect emotionally with any piece that lacks details, imagery, anything vivid for us to hang on too, obviously it's hard to judge without hearing the music behind it, but I think you should try injecting more than emotion into the lyrics - inject circumstance, color, life, poetry - the vague is something we understand emotionally but details- faces - these are the things that stay with us, and carry us along with guitar and bass and drums
