some unfound leash
wrapped around my neck like a nuse
cutting off my air, cutting through my soul
then you let go
air rushed into my lungs
and reminded me of why i was there
i lost it all then.
while you walk away from me
think about what used to be
because i know
i'm still around, missing you
rubbing the mark left on my neck
now open for suggestions
lend me just a piece of the past
scribbled down on a piece of torn paper
and scratched on my heart.
it keeps coming back
and i'll keep it there.
when i looked into your eyes once
the shown sun didn't have a clue,
dreaming up nightmares in the sky
compared to you.
now i'll wait right here
loose ends dragging me down
and i almost don't mind
being alone
in my cell.
