i don't know where i'm headed
but i hope it's in the right direction.
either way, i'm missing so much.
so will you send me a postcard
when you get there?
let me know how i turn out,
because i'm curious if i'll make it
lost and alone.
what i thought was my future
is dying under my thumb,
until every last breath is out
and i release it to become
something i've never imagined.
it's hard to follow a road
that changes right in front of you,
threatening to throw you off,
but i'll do my best. it's all i can.
with no time to enjoy the sights
or ask for directions,
i'm missing so much.
so if i don't make it,
will you send me a postcard
when you get there?
Between the conception and the creation

Between the emotion and the response

Falls the shadow.

  • My life story

Nice poem. I think a lot of us here can relate
If there was a chair in which I could comprehend, I would stand always and embrace the path
