Under the Weather

Though the sun shines bright,
I stay covered by shade.
Just can't seem to get right.
Same sad songs get played.
Hearing them always
Brings it right back-
Bright nights, dark days-
Mind way out of whack.
Some days it seems grey,
But it couldn't be better.
Sometimes when it rains,
I get under the weather.
And I let the drops
Take with them frustration
Which too often comes
From deep contemplation.
